所有留学生均需全程参加课堂教学、试验和考试；不得无故请假。因病等特殊请假，需遵循如下规定：

Full participation in classes, laboratory period and examinations is expected of all international students. Unexcused absences are not allowed. International students shall comply with the following regulations on excuses for absence like illness, injury and emergencies:

1、因病或因事请假3天之内，须填写请假条，由学院批准；请假4-7天的，须填写请假申请表并出具相关证明，报国际交流学院批准；一周以上，须填写请假申请表（附医院证明或机票行程单），报国际交流学院批准。

If the absence is no more than three days, international student shall fill in the Leave Application Form and submit it to the faculty for its approval; if the absence is about 4 to 7 days, international student shall fill in the Leave Application Form with appropriate documentation and submit them to International College for its approval; If it is more than one week, international student shall fill in the Leave Application Form with appropriate documentation provided by a hospital and flight itinerary, and submit them to International College for its approval.

2、请假获准后，须向所在学院按时销假，如需续假，应向所在学院办理书面续假申请。

When leave application is accepted, international student should report to the faculty upon planned return on time. If international student needs to extend leave of absence, they should contact the faculty and go through the required formalities.

3、一学期内请事假累计不得超过一个月。

The accumulated days of permissible excused absences per semester shall be no more than one month.

4、任课老师不接受口头请假，只认可请假单。一般情况下学生需在课前完成请假申请表，若有紧急情况，可报告Lily或者Lincoln，经同意之后，事后补填请假单。若事后不补假单，则算旷课。

The teacher doesn’t accept verbal leave of absence, and only written Leave Application will be accepted. In general, students should fill in the Leave Application before classes. In case of emergency, students should report to Lily or Lincoln in advance and fill in the leave application form after absence. Those who don’t fill in the Leave Application after absence will be accumulated credit hours’ absence.

5、迟到20分钟以上，算旷课一节。40分钟为一课时。

Those who is 20 minutes late for class will be accumulated one credit hour’s absence. One credit hour is 40 minutes.

6、一学期内累计擅自缺课10-19学时的，给予警告处分。一学期内累计擅自缺课20-39学时的，给予严重警告处分。一学期内累计擅自缺课40学时以上的，给予开除学籍处分。

Those who have accumulated 10-19 credit hours’ absence without permission in one semester shall be given a warning punishment. Those who have accumulated 20-39 credit hours’ absence without permission in one semester shall be given a serious warning punishment. Those who have accumulated over 40 credit hours’ absence without permission in once semester shall be expelled from school.

7、旷课三分之一以上,不能参加此课程期末考试。

Those who have accumulated credit hours’ absence more than one third, can’t take final examination.
