Dear International students,

The application for the 2022 Ningbo Municipal Government Scholarship has already begun. Please pay attention to the following instructions:

1 Eligibility

Second year and above degree international students, who have not won the 2022 CSC Scholarship, 2022 CIS Scholarship and 2022 ZJGS Scholarship, and all non-degree students.

2 Award Standards

Graduates: CNY30, 000.00/person

Undergraduates: CNY20, 000.00/person

Long-term students (non-degree):  

CNY6, 000.00/person(one year visiting students)

3 Requirements

1) Applicants should pay the required fees for the 2022–2023 academic year (including tuition, accommodation, insurance and late fees).

2) Excellent academic performance, with excellent learning and research skills.

3) Friendly attitude towards China. Behave properly.

4) Law-abiding, physically and mentally healthy, achieved all-round development.

5) Take an active part in all kinds of artistic & sports activities. Those with extraordinary achievements are prioritized.

6) Master & Ph.D. students actively carry out research and publicly publish papers of C level and above in the name of Ningbo University.

7) The visa has not expired and no punishment has been received.

8) No records of illegal religious activities.

9) No records of traffic violations or accidents.

10) No records for violating the University epidemic prevention and control regulations.

4 Application documents

1) Application Form for Ningbo Municipal Government Scholarship.

2) Receipt of paying the tuition, accommodation insurance and late fees for academic year 2022-2023.

3) Transcript.

4) Copy of passport.

5) Health report.

6) Proof of vaccination.

7) Recommendation letter in Chinese.

8) Certificate of enrollment （submitted by students or college).

9) ICBC bank Account

1) Application materials should be in duplicate.

2)Applicants are required to submit both online and hard application documents.

3) Application documents will NOT be returned.

Step 3: Hand in all your application documents to your faculty for approval and evaluation.
